This song is about the death of Oury Jalloh, whose burned body was found in a police cell in Dessau, an incident that was "investigated" by the internal police watchdog and found that there had been "no suspicious" circumstances in the death of Oury Jalloh. His hands and feet were tied to his bed, and there was evidence that the fire alarm had been switched off.

Hussam Hussein, an Iraqi refugee who was shot dead outside a refugee and to other asylum seekers who have lost their lives with no judicial ramifications like Achidi John who died after being forced to consume emetics while in custody in Hamburg in 2001.

Written in response to the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of George Flloyd in the US.

killed by cops, without reprise,

Racist oppression by the law,
Systemic in its flaws,
Mirrored on a global scale,
Law enforcement is a fail,
